Ok, there is no doubt you’ve not heard of Twitter!
This month I share a few Twitter followers that you may also want to follow ( hint, Friday tradition to share worthy followers) beside our own AMSAclub on Twitter (all dirt-bike related!).
If you’re not familiar with Twitter it’s worth a peek. I believe it’s far better than Facebook, Myspace, and other such social spots. Reason being, most importantly you don’t have to join Twitter to view Tweets, you decide if you want to join, it’s a free country unlike those other anti-social wanna-be domains.

iPhone Mx Games, You Bet Ya!

Moto X Mayhem (99 cents) is a fun physics-based side-scrolling game that’s been popular at the iTunes store in recent weeks, but I’ve been reluctant to write about it. In the game, you use your accelerometer to lean forward or back, and press the screen to accelerate as you navigate your way through a 2D course. You get five lives to try to complete seven different courses in a row to finish the game. The graphics are cartoon-smooth and the controls are excellent, but once you’ve played a few games, you’ll be able to finish fairly easily.
I was reluctant to write about this game because I used to play what I assume was the original–a free game called TG Motocross–at Teagames.com a couple of years ago. At the time, I was obsessed with getting the best times and thought it was a great free time waster (and so was the sequel), but now that it’s on the iPhone, I feel as if it isn’t enough. Teagames hasn’t had any new games for quite awhile, so maybe this iPhone game is its new endeavor. In any case, Moto X Mayhem is quite a good game, but if it added more levels or a way to pull off tricks, I would feel better recommending it at 99 cents. I guess the good news is that you can try it online before you buy.

Internet Marketing Tip II
Here’s another tip to help you get more traffic to your Website business.
Suggest your business website to the Open Directory Project: http://www.dmoz.org
Instructions – How To:
- Search for your business name, if it’s there your good (you’re done!)
- If not, you now need to locate the best (category name) that you would place your business in. You may do this by searching using a common key phrase (eg. Musician, Motorcycle Repair, RV Park, Financial Services,…) You will likely find other businesses listed where you want to be listed. Once you locate the best category click the link near the top “suggest URL” and enter your Website URI, business name, and description, (you’re done!) You’ve built another path to your doorstep (website), enjoy.

Enter information about your Website at this URI ( http://www.aboutus.org ) to help improve inbound linking and search engine rankings. ( Example enter into your web browser: http://www.aboutus.org/name-of-your-website )
This generates a Wiki page at About.Us.org, free for any website. It will create a link to your website, hopefully improving search engine ranking and simply providing more information about you/your business website. The more sites linking to your web site the better it will rank in the keyword search results (towards the top of the results page). This can only benefit you by entering your Web site information.
Note: Near the top of the web page (linked above) is a input field to enter your Web site URI then press Find! This will generate a Wiki page where you can edit your information as you like.
